Biyorem BioSorb

Soil Cleaning

✓ Bioremediation product that cleans up all types of oil and its derivatives in soil, sand, and plants.

Used in any soil, sand, or plant pollution with any type of petroleum and derivatives.

Biyorem BioSorb is spread over the surface of the spill to completely cover it. It is mixed with the soil.

✓ It is a 100% local and patented product.
✓ It is produced from natural, renewable sources and is environmentally friendly.
✓ Absorbs up to 5-6 times more hydrocarbons of petroleum and derivatives.
✓ Tests and scientific field studies are available for the product. (METU)
✓ It has a shelf life of 5 years. It is a dry powder product. It is offered in 13.5 kg packages.

The BioSorb technology can be applied on-site or externally and is much more practical, effective, environmentally friendly, and economical compared to other traditional remediation methods. It is sufficient to use BioSorb at a rate of approximately 1/5 of the amount of waste contaminated with the soil. The amount of product used can be increased depending on the pollution value (PPM). The first step of the application is to spread the product over the contaminated area. The second step is to mix the product with the waste. In this way, contact with hydrocarbon-contaminated soil in the lower layers of the soil is ensured with BioSorb, and the waste is absorbed. Upon contact with waste, it encapsulates the waste and prevents it from leaking into lower layers. This feature ensures that the contaminated area is contained, preventing the pollution of wider areas or underground water sources. Simple farming tools (shovels, rakes, plows) are sufficient for the bioremediation process depending on the condition of the contaminated area. After the mixing process, the waste is absorbed by BioSorb, and a noticeable difference can be observed. After mixing, by taking the soil moisture level (%15-30 moisture) into account, and the application area is watered with irrigation sprinklers or similar means. With this process, the bacteria contained in the product in spore form are activated to break down hydrocarbons. The bacteria maintain their activity between 4.5°C and 49°C. Activity ceases at lower temperatures but resumes as temperature increases. If the air temperature drops below 4.5°C, the activity can be maintained with a black plastic cover. Depending on climate, weather conditions, and soil structure, bioremediation process can be completed within 90 to 240 days. Hydrocarbons are converted to water and carbon dioxide. The waste produced at the end of this application is benign bio-mass. A general application protocol can be provided upon request.
